Friday, May 12, 2017 | 7:30 PM

The 2017 CLASS Spring Institute is designed to explore the relationship between the University and the Public Good.

Speakers from around the world will help us consider the purpose of the university in general, and in particular draw our attention to the role of institutions of higher learning in fostering a social climate of rights, reconciliation, and collective conscience, while pursuing research that furthers critical thought, sustainability, and public health.

Keynote speakers include Edward Snowden (via webcast), Angela Davis, Murray Sinclair, Vandana Shiva, Winona LaDuke, Sheila Watt-Cloutier, Gary Geddes, Ian Angus, and Rohit Ramchandani.

A limited number of passes are available for purchase that guarantee your admission to each keynote address and all panel discussions scheduled for the 2017 CLASS Spring Institute. To purchase a pass visit uwinnipeg.ca/CLASS.
