Unveiling of the recently restored historic stained glass window Theology, Queen of Sciences Surrounded by Faith, Love, Hope, Wisdom, Moral Conduct, Humility, and Love of Learning. Reception to follow.

A Putting Down of Roots

Conceived of by alumnus, Kegan McFadden, A Putting Down of Roots is an exhibition that questions mainstream notions of anniversaries, longevity in the arts, and cultural institutions in general through a presentation of art & archive material in commemoration of CV2's 40th anniversary.

Also As Well Too

Founded by alumna, Alexis Kinloch, Also As Well Too is a collection of artists' book that focuses on the experiential works of art that highlight the indefinability that defines this genre of artwork.  With works from Canada and beyond, there is a special focus on works created by Winnipeg artists. Browse these one of a kind books with the help of the librarian!!

Dr. Serena Keshavjee, University of Winnipeg Archivist Brett Lougheed and local architects on a tour of campus discussing how the campus has expanded and changed the face of downtown in the past 130 years. Meet in the Archives centre and take in ArtsFest exhibits before heading out. The tour is free but requires a reservation.
