Curator's Tour with Kegan McFadden
November 4 in Gallery 1C03
12:30 p.m.
Join A Putting Down of Roots: 40 Years of CV2 exhibition curator Kegan McFadden for a tour where he will discuss his research into the history of Canada's longest running poetry quarterly, as well as his approach to problematizing celebratory impulses when recognizing cultural milestones.
Kegan McFadden is a writer, curator, and artist whose work has been published, commissioned, and exhibited in artist-run as well as public and university galleries throughout Canada. In 2013 he was the curator for the first visual art supplement published by CV2 and featured in the issue No Place Like Home, which focused on Winnipeg. Earlier this year Kegan co-edited, with Clarise Foster, The Poetics of Queer, CV2's only issue dedicated to exploring queer writing.
