Getting Ready

Future Student Night

Once you have completed your registration for Future Student Night, the following links will help you prepare your questions and learn more about our programs:

Viewbook and Program Guide - The UWinnipeg Viewbook gives an overview of our campus, students and admission requirements. The Program Guide has detailed information for each of our academic programs. The PDF can be downloaded for easy reference.

Program Factsheets - Individual factsheets for each academic program that list some of the courses offered, a sample first year program, career options, and any grade 12 prerequisites.

Admission Questions?

The Student Recruitment team will be on hand to answer any questions about applying for admission.

When you are ready to apply you will need a list of all your grade 12 courses, and a Manitoba Education and Training (M.E.T.) number, which can be found on a report card/transcript or by asking at your school’s office (students from outside Manitoba are exempt).

The $100 application fee can be paid online, or payment can be sent in to Student Central after the application has been submitted.

Recruitment staff can help you get started and explain the application process, or answer any questions about applications already in progress.

Already Applied?

If you have already submitted an application and are wondering what comes next, check in with Admissions booth to ask staff directly. Or visit any of our other Student Services booths such as Aboriginal Student Services, Awards & Financial Aid, or International, Immigrant & Refugee Services.
