We will embrace who you are and help transform you into the leader you’re going to be.

Centrally located in the heart of downtown, The University of Winnipeg is a thriving community of approximately 10,000 students — noted for academic excellence, Indigenous scholarship, environmental commitment, small class sizes and campus diversity. In addition to offering undergraduate degree programs in arts, business and economics, science, education, and kinesiology, UWinnipeg also offers a number of pre-professional and unique graduate studies programs.

The institution is known for its personal feel and the connections made between students and professors, and among students. This comes from our smaller class sizes (average student to instructor ratio of 25:1) and the reputation of our caring and passionate faculty members. UWinnipeg also provides some undergraduate research opportunities, which are often associated with the graduate studies level at many universities.

With the third-lowest tuition in Canada, UWinnipeg delivers a high quality education at an affordable rate — full tuition plus general fees, books and supplies averages $6,500 to $7,300 per year (campus housing ranges from $4,730 to $8,910 annually).
