High School Counsellors are invited to register their school in advance of the event. Individuals and parents are also welcome to attend – no registration required.

Planning to begin university this fall? Looking for a supportive and engaging university experience? Join us for Open House! This is your best opportunity to get the answers you need to prepare for a successful university experience.

What to Expect

Campus Tours
Starting from the Duckworth Centre, University of Winnipeg Campus

Grab your Passport (and your friends) and take a self-guided tour of the UWinnipeg Campus! 

Follow the map (or the friendly staff stationed along the route) to discover noteworthy destinations. Collect at least six stamps from faculty, staff, and students along the way and submit your Passport at the Duckworth Centre to be entered to win a prize!

UWinnipeg is a dynamic campus with many state-of-the-art facilities and inviting spaces for students to relax, hang out, or study. But don’t take our word for it – see for yourself! See classrooms, labs, study spaces, the library, recreational facilities, and more.

Arts Discovery Fair
Duckworth Centre, University of Winnipeg Campus

Start here! The Arts Discovery Fair is Open House’s main hub. Here, you can:

  • Meet faculty and current students representing our programs in the Arts, Business and Economics, Education, and Kinesiology
  • Explore our many student services
  • Get all the information you need to choose the academic journey that matches your goals
  • Complete your application to UWinnipeg with in-person help from our Admissions Team. Learn what you need to bring
  • Enter for a chance to win a $5,000 first-year tuition credit

 

Science Discovery Fair
Richardson College for the Environment and Science Complex, University of Winnipeg Campus

Interested in science? The Richardson College for the Environment and Science Complex will be open to showcase UWinnipeg’s spaces, labs, and student experience in the sciences.
