Academic Scheduling
Under the Provost and Vice President Academic, the Academic Scheduling Office is responsible for the scheduling and timetabling of all academic space on the UWinnipeg campus.
Academic Scheduling has a unique role within the University in that it connects Faculty, Students and physical spaces together, creating the best possible learning environment. This task requires both significant detail work as well as a solid grasp of the overall needs of the campus community. Each year between September and April, Scheduling finds accommodation for over 10,000 students attending 2,100 classes in just over 60 classrooms. These rooms are located on Main Campus, the AnX, Buhler Centre, Richardson College, and Menno Simons College buildings.
While strongly believing that learning can happen anywhere at any time, Scheduling strives to provide the best space possible to all stakeholders.
Bookings can be made for activities such as courses, review sessions, alternate midterm and final exams, departmental meetings, and other academic related functions into classrooms, seminar rooms, and lecture theatres.
Student Club bookings are scheduled by the University of Winnipeg Students’ Association (UWSA).
