About Education Outreach
In addition to offering tours for University classes, Gallery 1C03 welcomes visits from interested school and community groups, particularly those situated in or near our downtown neighbourhood. Our free education program includes a tour of our current exhibition, followed by discussion, and a creative response activity.
Due to our small size we are only able to accommodate a maximum of 20 people in the gallery at any given time. If this program is of interest, please contact us to make a booking.
For those unable to visit us on campus, we have developed a few digital education workshops. These include a program on community and climate care centred on Grace Nickel's exhibition, Eruptions, another related to concepts of community and cultural exchange as it pertains to the Sovereign Intimacies exhibition and one honouring Indigenous resilience through storytelling for the exhibition When Raven Became Spider.
