A (+) Grace is a new work created by Rowan Gray with the generous guidance and support of ACI Manitoba’s Mentorship Program and mentor Dr. Melentie Pandilovski, Director of Video Pool Media Arts Centre.
About The Work:
A (+) Grace is an Installation/video work focused on breaking down and questioning the physical, and universal qualities of sound/ music. The final product is an abstracted interpretation of this research taking the form of a large immersive installation constructed of sound, video, and light. The project is focused on art as a fundamental tool when reconstructing an understanding of sound and how it relates to human perception.

She has studied art history in Italy through a program provided by the University of Toronto, and has participated in a thematic residency at the Banff Art Centre.
