Faculty, Staff and Student Art Exhibition

WHAT WE MAKE II is the second biennial exhibition of visual art shown in Gallery 1C03 that has been produced by current faculty, staff, and students of The University of Winnipeg. An open call for submissions has resulted in a diverse sampling of creative work by 32 makers from the University’s community. Exhibit visitors can expect to see painting, photography, prints, mixed media, ceramics, textiles and more.
Participating artists include Maureen Babb, Kadi Badiou, Julie Beaver, Rachel Berg, Jack Bruyese, Christopher Clements, Char Ducharme, Jamie Ducusin, Paul Friesen, Micaela Friesen, Laura Garinger, Derek Gerbrand, Fiona Green, Kim Gulas, Raelene Hall, Bruce Hanks, Patty Hawkins, Franchesca Hebert-Spence, Erin Heroux, Weldon Hiebert, Judith Huebner, April Keenan, Randy Kroeker, Alexis Morham, Karen Malcolm, Richard McCammon, Natassia Prydun, Andrea Bell Stuart, Trevor Thomas, Jesse Turner, Marc Vachon and Cara Velnes.
Please join us to celebrate the creativity of University of Winnipeg faculty, staff, and students at the opening reception of the exhibition on Thursday, May 25 between 3:00 and 5:30 p.m.! University President Dr. Annette Trimbee and University of Winnipeg Students’ Association President Laura Garinger will deliver welcome remarks and there will be complimentary refreshments.
Gallery 1C03 hours: Monday – Friday, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Exhibition continues until June 23.
Admission is free and all are welcome. Wheelchair accessible.
