This workshop covers strategies for processing oral history interviews and explores the advantages of creating textual documents to accompany oral history recordings. The emphasis of this workshop is on methods and tools for transcribing, and using this important step as a foundation for completing an oral history project that can be archived and accessed by future researchers. This workshop is one in a series of three: Introduction to Oral History (May 7 $25), Audio Recording (May 14 $20), and After the Interview: Workflow, Transcription & Organizing Your Project (May 21 $20).
