In recognition of Psychology Month, the Psychology Department will be holding events throughout the month of February to promote the discipline and to highlight the important role of psychology in our lives.
On Friday, February 26 at 12:30 PM in Room 4L28, Dr. Sheri-Lynn Skwarchuk (Professor, Education; Adjunct Professor, Psychology) will lecture on the subject of factors affecting children's success in mathematics. This presentation will provide an overview of the cognitive and environmental factors that affect children's mathematical learning during the preschool and early school years. A discussion period will follow her talk.
