The Skywalk Lecture Series features talks from leading UWinnipeg professors, who inform and engage the audience on topics of broad historical, political, and scientific interest.

Lectures take place on Wednesdays from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. in the Carol Shields Auditorium (2nd floor) at the Millennium Library, 251 Donald Street — just off the skywalk!

Janis Thiessen is Associate Professor of History at the University of Winnipeg and Associate Director of the UWinnipegs Oral History Centre. Her next book is on the history of Canadian snack foods (University of Manitoba Press, 2017).
