MOD profs publish new books

Congratulations to professors in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures Adina Balint and Jorge Machín-Lucas, both of whom published books recently.

Adina Balint

Dr. Adina Balint, Associate Professor in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures (French Studies), published a new book in October, Transculture, société et savoirs dans les Amériques (Peter Lang, coll. Canadiana, 2017), which she co-edited with Dr. Daniel Castillo Durante, writer and professor at the University of Ottawa.

Jorge Machín-Lucas

Jorge Machín-Lucas, Associate Professor in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures (Spanish Studies), published a book this summer on the Spanish poet, essayist and translator José Ángel Valente (1929-2000), José Ángel Valente. Perfiles esotéricos (Madrid, Devenir, 2017).
