Biography:

Farhood Rismanchian earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Systems Engineering from Yonsei University, South Korea, in 2017. His research focuses on applying analytical methods to develop data-driven solutions for operational and logistics challenges across various industries, with a particular emphasis on healthcare systems. He has consulted on projects involving simulation modeling and process redesign in emergency departments.

Currently, his research centers on the operational implementation of machine learning-based prediction models to support resource planning in emergency departments. His teaching interests include Simulation Modeling, Operations Management, and Project Management.
