Biography:
Chigbo Arthur Anyaduba studied at the University of Manitoba (PhD 2018) and Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria (MA 2013; BA 2008). His teaching and research interests focus broadly on African and African/Black Diaspora literatures as well as literatures about genocides and mass atrocities. In his scholarship, he explores the cultural representations of genocides and mass atrocities in Africa and is currently researching the representations of the mass starvation of Igbo populations during the Biafra-Nigeria War, 1967-1970. Anyaduba is the author of The Postcolonial African Genocide Novel: Quests for Meaningfulness (2021).
