Two EALC students, Manseerat Gill and Toluwalase Omoniyi, took first place in their respective divisions in the 37th Annual Manitoba Japanese Speech Contest.  Manseerat presented his speech, “Message from a Poet,” in the Introductory level. Toluwalase delivered his speech, “Fear Is Nothing More than a Shadow of the Heart” for the Intermediate level.  Both students will represent the province in the national speech contest, which will be held at York University on March 30th.  We wish them the best of luck.
