Japanese Speech Contest

Two EALC students, Manseerat Gill and Toluwalase Omoniyi, took first place in their respective divisions in the 37^th Annual Manitoba Japanese Speech Contest. Manseerat presented his speech, “Message from a Poet,” in the Introductory level. Toluwalase delivered his speech, “Fear Is Nothing More than a Shadow of the Heart” for the Intermediate level. Both students will represent the province in the national speech contest, which will be held at York University on March 30^th. We wish them the best of luck.
