Japanese Speech Contest
University of Winnipeg students won the 36th annual Japanese Speech Contest, which was held at The University of Winnipeg on March 1, 2024. Both students advance to compete in the Nationals in Ottawa.
Mr. Toluwalase Omoniyi will compete in the first level, delivering his speech on “My Kanji Study.”
Mr. Tyson Barnett will compete in the second level, delivering his speech on “Cultural Connections Through Language.”
