Nayara Rodrigues - 14 Week Program

"My name is Nayara I am from Brazil and I live in Winnipeg for 2 and a half years. When I moved to Canada, my English knowledge was minimal. I studied with a tutor or by myself but it wasn’t enough. I realized my goal had always been to go to post graduate program and improve my education to get better job opportunities.

Then and there, I discovered the English Language Program (ELP) through an internet search. I thought that this course could be a way to prepare me better for university life because I still needed to polish my English. So, I decided to enroll in the program and managed to enter Academic 5, which for me was a great achievement. During the course, I dedicated myself exclusively to it and even dedicated more hours than a full-time job requires, as it is a very challenging course. But today I recognize that the effort was worth it, that I achieved my goal, which was to improve my English and learn what is necessary for academic life here in Canada. Other people also noticed my progress after I took this course. The course is very demanding, but it delivers what it promises. Now I feel more prepared to start a new stage in my life at the Professional Applied and Continuing Education (PACE). Thank you ELP!"
