Biography:
Dr. Timothy Penner has taught courses in film, literature, and academic writing at the University of Manitoba and University College of the North. His research interests include Modernism and Post-Modernism, celebrity and star studies, film theory, and trauma literature. He holds a PhD in film and literature from the University of Manitoba, and his dissertation was on the role cinema plays in the development of celebrity personae.
