Introducing the Editorial Team for juice 16
Fri. Dec. 11, 2015
juice is a literary journal put together, edited, and created by students from the University of Winnipeg. The goal of the journal is to offer writers and artists an opportunity to submit their work with a chance for publication. An issue of juice is released every fall and is available for sale in the bookstore. Here is the editorial team for the next issue.
They will be accepting student submissions of all kinds of creative work (poetry, fiction, drama, visual art) as of January. Contact them through the juice Journal link here on the English Department page: http://www.uwinnipeg.ca/english/juice-journal.html
Editor: Davis Plett is a poet and musician. He has been published in juice and Lemon Hound's New Winnipeg Poets Folio, and was a featured reader at CV2's 2014 Undead Poets Fundraiser. He is interested in the interdisciplinary, the psychoanalytic, and literary potential of the pun. He'd have a Twitter account, but he “just can't get a handle on it.”
Intern: Rachel Narvey is an Art History student at the UW. Her writing has been featured in The Uniter and Stylus Magazine. She is a secret believer in magic but an overt believer in the transformative power of poetry.
Assistant Editor: Jena MoBo is working to complete a 4-year BA in Rhetoric, Writing, and Communications, as well as a 3-year BA in English. She also recently decided to minor in French (because why not!). Jena is passionate about the publishing process and wants to help creative writers develop their careers. She is so excited to be a part of juice.
