Launch of the 2020-21 Honours Seminar Schedule

With campus closed, this year’s Honours Information Session moved online, taking place on March 25th on the Department of English’s Twitter feed. Honours Chair Andrew Burke provided details about the Honours program and launched the 2020-21 Seminar Schedule. The complete twitter launch is available here.
Since the day of the launch there have been some slight changes to upcoming Honours offerings. Professor Zbigniew Izydorczyk’s ENGL-4242, set to be taught in the Spring 2020 session will be now be rescheduled for either Fall 2020 or Winter 2021. In its place, Professor Andrew Burke’s ENGL-4741 Topics in Screen Studies will be offered in Spring 2020, with a focus on Contemporary World Cinema and the New Cinephilia. If you would like to take this 4000-level spring course, please email Professor Burke (a.burke@uwinnipeg.ca) and he will complete your Honours Declaration form for Spring 2020.
Please follow the Department of English on Twitter for news of this summer’s advising schedule. Enrolment in FW 2020-21 Honours seminars will begin in late May and continue through June and July.
