Fri. Feb. 12, 2016
Dr. Naomi Hamer has been invited to deliver a keynote address at the biennial University of British Columbia Children’s Literature Graduate Research Conference, which is to take place on April 30, 2016. This year’s conference, entitled “Many Worlds to Walk In: Exploring Diversity in Children’s Literature, Librarianship, and Education,” aims to showcase graduate student research in children’s literature.
In her address, “Enter through the Gift Shop: Story Museums, Children’s Book Exhibits, and the Cross-Media Experience,” Dr. Hamer will discuss the ways in which children’s museums mediate children’s experiences with literature.
