Carla Manfredi Wins Prestigious Fellowship at University of Edinburgh

Congratulations to Dr. Carla Manfredi, who has been awarded The American Philosophical Society/Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities Fellowship at the University of Edinburgh for this summer. This award will allow her to complete her research at The Writers' Museum (Edinburgh). Dr. Manfredi’s book project (entitled Pacific Imprints: Robert Louis Stevenson’s Travel Literature and Photography) focuses on Stevenson's corpus of 600+ photographs and integrates his photographic practice with his concurrent literary output.  During this final wave of research she will correlate materials with Yale's Beinecke Library, where she will be a Visiting Fellow in May 2017.
