Ifeoluwa Adeniyi, Chigbo Anyaduba, and Eliakim Sibanda have organized Contemporary African Migration to Canada: New Directions, Approaches, Theories, a conference that brings together humanities/social sciences academics, students, and community organizations from across Canada to discuss African migration to Canada. The conference will take place over three days, from Thursday, September 19 to Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the University of Winnipeg. It will explore African migrations to Canada since the twentieth century, featuring four keynotes, panel presentations, roundtable discussions, and a workshop covering a wide range of topics related to the conference theme.
