About:
Dr. David Duval is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Business and Economics at The University of Winnipeg. He is also a Senior Visiting Fellow in the School of Aviation at the University of New South Wales, Australia, and an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Supply Chain Management at the University of Manitoba. Duval holds a PhD from York University.
Before beginning his academic career, he was an analyst and project manager at Longwoods International, a consultancy firm specializing in tourism destination marketing, visitor profiling, and measuring the efficiency of tourism advertising and promotion. Since then, Duval has been involved with assignments in the aviation and government sectors. He recently undertook (with A Schiff) commissioned work on airline ownership for the Secretariat of the Canada Transportation Act Review.
David is a regular media commentator, having covered a variety of transportation topics for radio, print and television.
