Creating space
Inclusive experience. Digital transformation.
Constructed in 1972, Centennial Hall has served the UWinnipeg community for almost 50 years. In that time, the building has aged, the student population has quadrupled, and the digital age has significantly changed the way we study, research, and learn. Working with Indigenous Design Lead and Senior Architect Ryan Gorrie of Brook McIlroy Inc, the library is being redesigned to create an inclusive, accessible space for future generations of students.
We are extremely grateful to University of Winnipeg students, whose support of this project ensures the next generation of students has a modern space for studying and collaboration, a space that can adapt to technological advances, a space created with the environment in mind, and a space designed for inclusiveness and cultural preservation.
