2025 Faculty ISSP Application Form

The Indigenous Summer Scholars Program is a 12-week Research training program that engages Indigenous undergraduates (or recent graduates) in a variety of scholarly, collaborative, and community-based research projects. The program may be extended by up to four weeks, for a total program length of 16 weeks, if the student is also receiving USRA funding.

The Faculty of Graduate Studies will fund student stipends of $5,000 each for up to twelve approved projects. Please refer to the funding section of this form for additional details.

If you would like to host an ISSP scholar, please complete this form by February 28, 2025.

Funding Information

The Faculty of Graduate Studies will fund student stipends of up to $5,000 each for up to 12 projects.

The contribution from the Faculty of Graduate Studies will vary for students and researchers who are also funded via a USRA.
