Biography:

Elaine Herrera was born in the Philippines and grew up in Winnipeg. She obtained her B.Sc. in mathematics from the University of Manitoba, followed by a M.Sc. in mathematics and statistics from McGill University. Elaine taught at the University of Manitoba as a sessional instructor before joining the University of Winnipeg in 2022.
