Chelsie Parayko

Chelsie Parayko is a member of the Missanabie Cree First Nation which is currently going through reserve designation which should be completed in the fall of 2017. Recently Chelsie graduated from Algoma University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, minor in Human Resources and a certificate in Community Economic and Social Development. Algoma University is a former Residential School that Chelsie’s Grandmother, Aunts and Uncles attended. Given this fact it was important to her to attend the University as it was a way to reconnect with her late Grandmother and begin to create a new legacy in the building for her nieces and nephews. Chelsie’s passions include hiking, music, her dog Rambo, traveling, and learning about new cultures.
