MDP - Doing development differently

Graduate students from UWinnipeg’s unique Master’s in Development Practice (MDP) in Indigenous Development program return from their field placements in the coming days + will share their experiences at the 2014 MDP Symposium on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 9:00am-12:30pm.Everyone is welcome to attend.
The field placement component is a critical, and much anticipated, part of the MDP program, giving students the opportunity to learn “on-the-ground” about challenges and opportunities of Indigenous development. About the MDP Program
UWinnipeg offers a unique Master’s in Development Practice (MDP) in Indigenous Development. This two-year program of study consists of course work, applied research and field placements. The program transcends borders by offering online “global classrooms” that connects students to an international network of 26 other universities as well as with local, rural, and remote communities around the world.
