On April 6^th, MDP students Gabriela Jimenez and Stephen Penner, joined other UWinnipeg graduate students from Applied Computer Science, Bioscience and Indigenous Governance to present their research at the 3^rd Annual Three-Minute Thesis Competition.

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT™) is an academic competition developed by The University of Queensland, Australia which challenges graduate students to communicate their research and its significance in just three minutes to a non-specialist audience.

Gabriela spoke on “Indigenous Participation in Water Governance to Improve Access to Drinking Water: A Case Study from Warao Peoples in Venezuela.”

Stephen shared his work on “Gathering Circles Farm to Table Co-op: A Case Study in Small Scale Indigenous Economic Development.”
