MDP Student Wins 3MT Competition
Wed. Apr. 12, 2017
Second year MDP student, Aliraza Alidina, was the 2017 Three Minute Thesis (3MT™) competition winner at the University of Winnipeg. He presented on “Fostering a safe space for dialogue between Indigenous and newcomer communities.”
Ali will go on to participate in the Western 3MT at the University of Saskatchewan on April 28th, and potentially the National 3MT competition sponsored by the Canadian Association of Graduate Studies.
"The 3MT competition was a tough one! Many of the presenters did very well. It was an honour to win! I look forward to presenting at the regional competition. What really matters to me is carrying my research on Indigenous-Newcomer relations at the national level due to its significance for reconciliation."
Congratulations and good luck Ali!
