The placement was hosted by the North Rupununi District Development Board (NRDDB), a local Non-Governmental Organization founded and run by the Amerindian people of the North Rupununi, in region 9 of Guyana. Sunday Lizu and Tatenda Bwawa contributed on a variety of projects: participatory sessions with the students of the Bina Hill Institute Youth Learning Centre to assess programming, an organizational assessment of the operations of the NRDDB, a community health needs assessment and the development of a NRDDB-BHI Policy & Ethics Framework for Researchers.
