Carib Kalinago Council, Dominica
Nathan McCorrister and Gabrielle Héroux’s field placement was with the Carib Kalinago Council on the Caribbean island and state of Dominica.
Nathan worked on a strategic plan for land management and land-based economic development in Kalinago territory.
Gabrielle assisted with the development of a proposal for a credit facility for residents of the Kalinago Territory and also researched alternative means of accessing credit or funding for community projects.
