Indigenous Information Network (IIN), Kenya

Stella Rakwach and Margaret Lewis-John were based in Nairobi, Kenya and worked at the NGO Indigenous Information Network (IIN).

Stella’s work primarily focused on a climate change project in Narok county. She assisted in establishing a community resource center to collect, store and disseminate climate change information.

Margaret’s activities included work on climate change, violence against women and education for girls. She conducted leadership training for women and developed a training guide for entrepreneurial training and development, especially for women in pastoralist communities.
