Heidi Cook’s placement was with the University College of the North (UCN) based in The Pas, northern Manitoba. She conducted research and wrote a report on how to implement the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples into curriculum of the UCN’s Natural Resources Management Technology Program.
