Gabriela Jimenez worked with Partnerships and Stakeholders Initiatives Division at Manitoba Hydro in Winnipeg. The main objective was to research on the best practices for culture and health impacts assessments in energy projects around Canada. During this experience, She was also exposed to a corporate environment and to the complexities of collaborative processes with communities; which include difficulties of the negotiation processes and understanding of how to build relationships based on trust and empathy.
