Great Lakes Indian Fish & Wildlife Commission (GLIFWC)
Jordan Tabobundung spent her international placement with the Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission (GLIFWC) in Bad River, Wisconsin. She assisted with research conducted by GLIFWC staff in the Planning and Development department on behalf of the member tribes and affiliated research partners for the Nenda-Gikendamang Ningo-Biboonagak language project as well as the Traditional Foods Program. Jordan attended community events, gatherings, ceremonies and activities related to GLIFWC focus of work that aligned with personal interests in language, culture, traditional foods and community development.
