Aliraza Alidina worked as a Monitoring and Learning Officer at MVIWATA Manyara through World University Service of Canada (WUSC). MVIWATA is a national membership organization of small scale farmers in Tanzania. Part of his mandate, Ali assisted the organization in the development and improvement of monitoring tools for data collection, gave a training on M&E, and conducted a gender assessment on the Dirim irrigation project. His work involved frequent field visits for projects related to environment conservation and entrepreneurship. Ali had to ensure that the gender and youth dimensions were included in all activities.
