Kishaadigeh

Ada Chukwudozie was placed to assist on a project called Kishaadigeh, an Indigenous-led project that aims to up-skill research capacity and infrastructure for indigenous communities and organisations undertaking health research. Her primary roles within Kishaadigeh were to draft seed grant application forms for Indigenous health researchers, coordinate with Kishaadigeh Indigenous research partners, conduct interviews, and draft terms of references document for the organisation and its sub-groups.

"The most valuable part of this experience for me was the practical knowledge I was getting by virtue of actually speaking with the Indigenous community researchers and Indigenous partners of Kishaadigeh. It was a truly rewarding experience in spite of the uncertainty that the COVID pandemic brought along with it." Ada
