Southern Chiefs Organization

Amber Balan worked with the Southern Chiefs Organization’s Health Transformation Team (HT). The HT is moving through a community led process through expert guidance, health director’s voices and three advisory tables to develop a new First Nations governed healthcare system which will serve the Southern 34 member nations. Amber was involved in activities including interviewing First Nation health directors, attending knowledge forums, strategic planning sessions, and collaborating with senior health advisors.
