Leading4impact (L4i)
Jessica is a second-year MDP student working with Leading4impact (L4i) for her second field placement. At L4i, Jessica has been involved in data analysis, report writing, research, and community engagement focused on evaluation and strategic planning. L4i provides planning and evaluation services to communities, organizations, and government at the federal, provincial, and municipal level. Jessica attended several meetings with local organizations such as Nine Circles, The United Way, and Manitoba Harvest, providing an in-person experience that proved integral to her overall learning. L4i takes a relational approach, tailoring its process to reflect the interests of the client and/or organization as much as possible, ensuring their voices are heard within reporting and final outcomes.
“This opportunity has allowed me to explore the work being done by local organizations, to better understand their values, goals, and needs, and how L4i elevates their efforts through collaboration, strategic planning and evaluation. L4i is doing important work through its commitment to our community and their ability to engage with different sorts of organizations that contribute to Winnipeg’s overall economic, cultural, communal, and individual wellness.”
