National Collaborating Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCCID)
Rick Harper, a final year MDP student, chose to do his field placement at the National Collaborating Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCCID). As a student intern at NCCID, he assisted and worked alongside Claudyne Chevrier. She was a mentor and a supervisor to Rick. They both worked on developing a report for Inuit Tapirit Kanatami (ITK). Rick searched for resources and literature using various search methods. Upon finding the sources, they then reviewed each document and saved those that fit the criteria for the report. The final list was then put into another document which was an annotated bibliography. The finished report will be delivered to ITK and all findings will be the property of ITK. Which is a good thing.
“The things I learned I will take with me and the things I was a part of, I hope I left a good mark.”
