VIKASA

Katherine Rempel worked with Dr. Kiran, Executive Director at VIKASA, on a natural farming case study and developing updated content for the organizational website. VIKASA is a Natural Resources Management organization with a focus on agriculture and horticulture-based interventions to sustain and strengthen the livelihoods of tribal communities in Visakhapatnam, India.  VIKASA is a community led organization working to develop a social order that values the real significance of environment protection, social justice, women empowerment, and sustainable development. The purpose of the projects was to use the skills Katherine developed throughout the MDP program to build meaningful relationships, develop a case study on the organizations natural farming project successes, and updating the organizational website.
