I am the Canadian leader of a major experiment searching for the neutron's electric dipole moment, which is being conducted at TRIUMF (Canada's National Laboratory for Particle and Nuclear Physics, Vancouver, BC). The project is a joint effort between physicists in Canada and Japan. It seeks to search for additional sources of CP violation that are required, for example, to explain the predominance of matter over antimatter in the universe.
I am also involved in electron scattering experiments at Jefferson Laboratory (Newport News, VA, USA), and in cold neutron experiments at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (Oak Ridge, TN, USA).
