The University of Winnipeg is once again proudly participating in the Green Action Centre’s annual Commuter Challenge from June 2th-June 8th, 2024.

RUN, BIKE, BUS, CARPOOL, ROLL or STROLL!

The Commuter Challenge is a week-long friendly workplace competition that's going to get you moving!

Here’s how it works: 

  1. Register for the University of Winnipeg Commuter Challenge Team here.
  2. After each of your commutes to work, log your KMs on the Commuter Challenge website. This will help UW and yourself, WIN prizes! Check out the Green Action Center information here.
  3. Prizes:
    • Every staff/faculty that completes 3 lines of the UW 2024 bingo card and send in the photos to our email or social media accounts will WIN a $10 Diversity gift card and be entered into our GRAND PRIZE draw!
    • UW Grand Prize:
      • 1 trail backpack (size options available)
      • 1 family pass to Fort Whyte Alive
      • 1 Nalgene water bottle
      • 15-in-1 bike repair multi-tool
      • 1 small first aid kit
      • 4 nutritional bars
      • 1 sheet of full fare bus tickets
