Chief Operations Officer Teresa Murray says goodbye

Teresa Murray (center) has spent her career at the Foundation making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes. For the last 18 years, she has worked tirelessly to make sure our donors and community members are well informed and pleased with our progress each and every year.

A critical part of the leadership team now at the helm of the Foundation, Teresa first started as a development assistant in 2006 helping prepare for the “A World of Opportunity” capital campaign—the Foundation’s first foray into large-scale external fundraising. A skilled communicator and fundraiser, Teresa has spent time working at nearly every position offered at the Foundation during her tenure, including acting as interim President and CEO in 2011 and throughout most of 2020.

Teresa will be greatly missed by our team and our donors. On behalf of the foundation board, we wish her all the best at her new position as director of alumni and donor relations at the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology.
