Eric Thrift is a socio-cultural anthropologist whose research focuses on culture and sustainable development, with special attention to the impacts of globalization on "nomadic culture" in Mongolia. His current research projects investigate the cultural dimensions of cashmere and dried fish value chains.

Jodi Schmidt is an Anthropology Museum collections technician at the University of Winnipeg. She holds undergraduate degrees in Biology and Anthropology from the University of Winnipeg and a Master’s degree in Anthropology from Trent University. Her background is in bioanthropology and archaeology.
