Duckworth Centre Expansion

The expansion of Duckworth Centre in 2007-2008 included a new fitness centre animating Spence Street, as well as an expanded athletic therapy clinic and new classroom. The Bill Wedlake Fitness Centre, named in honour of retired Athletic Director Bill Wedlake, features state-at-the-art cardio equipment, weight machines and free weights. The facility also features a new sound system and several mounted televisions for students, faculty, staff, alumni and local community members to enjoy during their workout.

The Duckworth Centre is poised to undergo another renovation into a holistic Health, Healing and Wellness Centre as part of the Health and RecPlex project.

The Duckworth Centre also houses the newly dedicated Dr. David F. Anderson Gymnasium.
