Six Seasons Project Receives Canadian Heritage Grant

The Six Seasons of the Asiniskow Ithiniwak project has received a grant from the Canadian Heritage Aboriginal Language Initiative Program to assist with the development of the Pīsim Finds Her Miskanow app. The Aboriginal Language Initiative Program supports the preservation and revitalization of Indigenous languages through community-based projects and activities. This grant will help the team further develop the Rocky Cree language and gamification components of the app, as well as test it with young people and teachers.
